Service is high on the list of priorities at Weber MT. The attendance to warranty claims is customer-oriented and easy. A two-year warranty without any limitations is part of company policy. Additionally: due to the exemplary quality of Weber MT machines the rate of warranty expenses is significantly below industry average.
Low rate of warranty expenditure
Despite Weber MT’s warranty of minimally two years on its machines, with the option of an extension of up to five years, the warranty rate is extremely low.
The company’s expenditure on warranty and ex gratia payments of just below one per cent of sales has been less than the average for a number of years by now. The latest figures determined by the VDMA, the German Engineering Federation, were 1.5 per cent of the turnover in the machinery industry and 2.1 per cent in the sector of construction and building-material machinery.
Weber MT took a top position with regard to vibrating tampers. Merely 0.34 per cent of sales turnover of SRV- and SRX-tampers had to be spent on warranty and ex gratia payments since 2010. The expenditure for damages to engines is already included in this figure.
