Internal vibrators at work

Indispensable in structural engineering

Little can be done on typical construction sites in structural engineering without powerful internal vibrators. They are needed whenever concrete is compacted. But the chosen device must be appropriate to the specific on-site requirements. Internal vibrators with a separate converter as well as vibrators with an integrated converter belong to the standard product range of Weber MT.

In structural engineering internal vibrators are simply indispensible. They are necessary for processing concrete of the type F2 to F4 (moldable to very soft), either for foundations, concrete walls, floors or precast components. For achieving good compaction results the performance of a vibrator is especially important. The radius of action (about ten times the poker diameter) is one of the criteria for selecting the right device.

Weber MT provides a broad range of high-quality vibrators:

IV- series

The electric internal vibrators of the IV-series driven by a separate converter are mainly used at large construction sites. Models with an input voltage of 48 V are available with poker diameters of 31, 40, 50, 58, 68 and 80 mm. Several machines can be connected to a suitable converter at the same time. Models with a higher input voltage or pistol grip vibrators are also part of the IV-series.

IVUR-series (input voltage 230 V)

If an internal vibrator with an integrated converter is needed, the models of the IVUR-series are the right choice. The advantages are obvious: internal vibrator and converter form one unit, but both components can be detached easily. The large radius of action allows for processing and consolidating larger quantities of concrete. Temperature sensors protect the efficient coils from overheating. The hardened poker shaft and head ensure a long service life of the vibrators. Light-emitting diodes on the converter component make it simple to identify the reason for a machine failure.

On construction sites without direct access to a power supply IVUR- vibrators can also be operated safely by a separate generator. The cast casing of the electronics is insensitive to power fluctuations of up to 450 V.

Weber MT also provides mechanical internal vibrators of the MVX-line for small jobsites.
